Though I tend to mostly post big room bangers throughout the week, I’ve decided that Fridays should pay tribute to those french, funky, filter house that are disco influenced & synth-tastic-retro-sounding tracks, but aren’t. We will call this weekly post series Funky Friday.

I would like to post a fairly old remix by Calvin Harris that still manages to get my homies bouncing in the car. This funky choon titled See the Light, originally by The Hours, honestly sounds like your Nintendo finished a bottle of yager by itself & got itself kicked out of the venue where they had to perform that night^[1].

The main melody lazily glides back and forth, pleasantly managing to keep itself in harmony with the bassline. Once those synth chords come in with the vocals, the track begins to have the sort of soothing melodious vibe & energy Daft Punk & Fred Falke’s tracks have.
